Lina Macedo

Certified Accountant

Lina is an accountant certified  by the Professional Association of Certified Accountants, and has worked in NEWCO since 2008.

With over 20 years of experience working at the International Business Centre of Madeira (CINM) in the areas of accounting, taxation, financial management and reporting, financial statement analysis and human resources management, she has acquired thorough knowledge of the responsibilities and obligations of international accounting.

Holder of a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Catholic University of Portugal, she then went on to get a postgraduate degree in International Taxation from  the ISAG – Higher Institute of Administration and Management, Lisbon . She has also taken several courses in the area of international taxation, always staying up to date with developments in the area, as well as holding a diploma in Education and Training. Experienced in working in multilingual environments, she is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of French and Spanish. Her native language is Portuguese.
