Carla Isabel Abreu

Certified Accountant

Carla Isabel has been a member of NEWCO's accounting department since 2017. She is responsible for providing accounting services for companies that have their headquarters registered at the International Business Centre of Madeira (CINM) and in Malta, which includes processing of wages, preparing and drawing up financial statements and submitting and filing tax returns. She has been a member of the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (Professional Association of Certified Accountants) since 2006.

Carla completed a degree in Management at the ISCTE – Higher Institute of Labour and Business Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Auditing, Management Control and Taxation.

Prior to joining NEWCO, Carla Isabel worked in planning, coordinating and conducting auditing work in private companies in various business sectors, as supervisor at BDO & Associados, including IBC companies, public entities and companies, and European Union funds.

She is a native speaker of Portuguese and is fluent in English.
