Paula Torais

Certified Accountant

Paula is responsible for providing accounting services for companies located in Portugal and Malta, drawing up financial statements and other supporting documents, as well as following up on financial audits. She also ensures that companies comply with reporting and payment obligations to the Tax and Social Security Authorities.

Paula has a degree in Economics from the ISEG – Higher Institute of Economics and Management and a postgraduate degree in Legal-Fiscal Sciences. She is a certified accountant, registered with the Professional Association of Certified Accountants.

Prior to joining NEWCO in 2018, Paula was a Financial Auditor (Ernst & Young), Administrative and Financial Director at a dairy company and certified accountant for several companies belonging to a Madeiran business group. In addition to her native Portuguese, she has full command of the English language and speaks good Spanish.
