Cláudia Vasconcelos

Head of Business Development

Cláudia is in charge of Business Development at NEWCO. She joined the company in 2013, after spending several years working to attract foreign investment to Portugal, firstly at the United States Embassy in Lisbon and later at the SDM-Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Madeira, concessionaire of the International Business Centre of Madeira.

Cláudia has a degree in International Relations from the Technical University of Lisbon, having subsequently completed a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Service Marketing, both at the Catholic University of Portugal. Further, she has completed several training courses in taxation, including a postgraduate degree specialising in international taxation at the Catholic University of Portugal. Claudia’s native language is Portuguese, but she also speaks English and French, and basic Italian, Spanish and German.
